Load-In & Set Up Instructions

Friday May 29th

CHECK YOUR EMAIL AFTER MAY 21 FOR YOUR BOOTH ASSIGNMENT!

To reduce congestion and keep traffic flowing, Friday load-in on May 29 will take place in staggered time blocks by section. Please arrive only at your assigned time and follow the entry and exit directions for your section exactly. This schedule is based on the current booth map and section layout. Please load behind your booth markings to keep the road clear.

Please unload your materials onto the curb as quickly as possible, then move your vehicle right away so other artists in your section can access the load-in area. Promptly clearing your vehicle is one of the biggest ways you can help keep load-in moving smoothly for everyone.

Artist load-in begins at

*10:00 AM for Sections J and F. These booths should enter from South Vine Street on the south side, park on E Commons Ave on the south side and unload onto the curb or in your booth space, then exit via Gaylord Street.

* 10:30 AM, artists in Sections A and B with even-numbered booths should enter from Gaylord Street, park and unload into the space behind your booth markings and exit at Vine Street on the north side.

* 11:00 AM, artists in Section E with even-numbered booths should enter from Gaylord Street, park and unload into the space behind your booth markings, then exit out E Commons Ave by Wholefoods.

* 11:30 AM, artists in Sections G and H, booths 1 through 7 with even-numbered spaces, should enter from South Vine Street on the south side, park and unload into the space behind your booth markings, then exit via Gaylord.

Weights & Straps & Weather,

Be prepared for all types of weather. We have true Colorado weather, so be well prepared.

  1. We are now requiring ratchet straps for your weights - no bungees or ropes of any kind. Pleased take the safety of the public, other artists, & yourself seriously!
  2. You cannot stake into the grass at the lodge because of the sprinkler system.
  3.  Weights for your tent are a MUST. Please bring at least 50 lbs per corner. You will be inspected by us and the fire marshal. Failure to comply will result in being asked to leave the show.
  4. CLICK HERE for our Canopy Weights Guidelines doc.

Taxes

Total Tax Rate - Centennial Fine Art Festival May 31st & June 1st

Tax Docs from the State Of Colorado are HERE!

Colorado  imposes sales tax on retail sales of tangible personal property. In  general, the tax does not apply to sales of services, except for those  services specifically taxed by law. However, in the case of a mixed  transaction that involves a bundled sale of both tangible personal  property and service (whether or not such service is specifically  taxed), the entire purchase price may be taxable unless certain conditions exist.

State Of Colorado

In  general, any retailer making sales in Colorado is required to collect  the applicable state and state-administered local sales taxes. The  requirement to collect tax applies regardless of whether the sale is  made at a retailer’s location in Colorado or delivered to the customer  at a location in Colorado. A retailer may be required to collect tax  even if it has no physical presence in Colorado.

Any  retailer that is required to collect Colorado sales tax must obtain and  maintain a Colorado sales tax license. They must also file returns and  remit collected taxes at regular intervals, generally on a monthly  basis. Retailers must maintain all records necessary to determine the  correct amount of tax and provide these records to the Department upon  request.

This  publication is designed to provide retailers with general guidance  regarding sales tax licensing, collection, filing, remittance, and  recordkeeping requirements prescribed by law.

City Of Centennial

City Of Centennial

Centennial is a home rule city!

ColoradoArtShows.com carries the special event license for Centennial so we will be collecting the Town's sales tax AT THE CLOSE OF THE SHOW.

The process for this will be electronic. More on that process Saturday. Then you pay the remainder to the State when you file with them. We will have that process up and running by Saturday.

Pay Your Taxes!

WARNING: We are required to turn-in our participating artists after every show. The state and city will have your name, address, phone, and email and they will contact you if you do not file.

Cancellation Policy

From our cancellation policy: "After you pay your booth fee, there are no refunds for the show."
