Art On The Green Joins the ColoradoArtShows.com 2026 Season

We are honored to announce that ColoradoArtShows.com/ColoradoArtWeekend.com, will be taking over the production and artist management of the 7th annual  Art On The Green in Greenwood Village beginning with the 2026 season.

Art On The Green is a long-standing, well-loved free fine art festival held at Curtis Park, adjacent to the Curtis Center for the Arts, known for its park setting, engaged south-metro audience, live music, food trucks, and strong sense of community. We are proud to welcome this festival into our 2026 lineup and to help guide its next chapter.

We also recognize that change can feel uncomfortable, particularly for artists who have exhibited here for many years and care deeply about the festival’s legacy. We want to be clear: our goal is not to reinvent Art On The Green, but to steward it thoughtfully—preserving what works while providing professional systems, clear communication, and strong support for artists.

Many of the qualities artists value most about this show—its setting, tone, audience, and community feel—are things we intend to protect. Trust is earned, and we invite artists to judge us by how the festival is run, how artists are treated, and how the event performs.

We are grateful to the artists who have helped build Art On The Green into what it is today, and we look forward to welcoming both returning and new artists as we move into 2026.

    ****************

Greenwood Village sits in the top tier of Colorado art-buying markets by income, education, and home value.

    What this means for artists:

    • Median household income (GV): ~$125,000+

    • 10–15 min trade area: $140,000–$180,000+ median HH income

    • Top 25% of U.S. households: Greenwood Village consistently ranks here by income

    • College educated: ~65–70%+ of adults hold a bachelor’s degree or higher

    • Prime buyer age: 35–75 (largest concentration 45–64)

    • Homeownership: ~70%+, with many homes $900K–$2M+

    • High discretionary spend: Home décor, art, travel, dining, and culture

    Audience composition (typical):

    • 60–70% local / south-metro Denver (Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills, Centennial, Lone Tree, south Denver)

    • 30–40% regional Front Range visitors

This audience is accustomed to purchasing original art, not just browsing. Buyers tend to purchase for:

    • Primary and secondary residences

    • Statement wall pieces and sculptural work

    • Fine jewelry and high-quality craft

Art On The Green has a long track record of attracting qualified art-buying patrons, and our role beginning in 2026 is to protect and strengthen that buying culture, not dilute it.

    Bottom line:
This is a high-income, high-education, home-owning audience with both the means and the mindset to buy original art.

"Is there any money back guarantee if for some reason the shows are shut down due to COVID 19?"

In  2022, we were was still able to hold art festivals even amidst the  COVID situation. Safety protocols and distanced booths resulted in  fantastic shows: the health officials approved our approach, patrons  attended and were buying, and artists made money!

We learned a lot last year. Being one of the only promoters in  Colorado to successfully hold multiple events, our extensive experience  in this "new normal" predicts great success for the 2022 season.
Once  you have been accepted to our shows, we have a no refund policy.  However, if you stick with us to the point that a government agency  shuts us down for any reason, we will give you your money back for that  show.

"Is there any money back guarantee if for some reason the shows are shut down due to weather?"

In  Colorado, we deal with all manner of weather. We proceed with our  events regardless. If however there is weather that is threatening to  artists or patrons, we may call off a day of a show or we may call a  show over early. This does not constitute a refund of any funds to  artists.

What type of over night security will you be providing?
